Tyrese, Kelis, Shaggy and more to perform in the UAE

Hip-hop heads and R’n’B lovers in the UAE are in for a treat this weekend with back-to-back live events.

On Saturday night, Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson will perform at XL Beach Club, Habtoor Beach Resort and Spa. Tickets are priced at Dh150, but the event is free for men before 9pm and for ladies before 11pm. Rapper Lumidee will take the stage at the same venue on Thursday with tickets available for Dh100.

R’n’B songstress Kelis will perform at the first year anniversary of The Act, Shangri-La Hotel on Friday. The event requires reservations, organisers say. Omarion will be at supperclub, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel, on the same night for Dh295.

Meanwhile in Abu Dhabi, Shaggy will spend his Friday night at Etoiles nightclub in Emirates Palace on Friday. Though the event is typically free, organisers tell us the cover charge has yet to be decided for this particular night.
