Maverick Sabre is the latest artist to join the line-up for the two-day Blended Festival at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. The blues, roots, jazz, soul and folk festival will take place on May 1 and 2.
The Irish-English singer-songwriter, characterised by an enchanting style and tremulous vocals, will play on the second day of the festival, when Elvis Costello and Diana Krall also perform. On the first day, Xavier Rudd, Aloe Blacc and Joss Stone will perform.
“Announcing the exciting new talent and mesmerising voice that is Maverick Sabre as part of the Blended 2014 line-up, we have an exciting, diverse and yes, well-mixed ‘blend’ of music styles,” said Thomas Ovesen, COO at Done Events.
Sabre, 23, has a single album to his name in the form of his 2012 debut Lonely are the Brave. He released a music video for his latest single, Breathe, on April 11.
