Jumeirah Beach Hotel gets an Indian restaurant

Lovers of Indian food in fancy settings can check out Naya, the new north Indian restaurant at the five-star hotel by the beach. Another good reason to visit? They’ve knocked 25 per cent off the bill until April 15 to mark the opening. Despite the high-end surroundings, there are white tablecloths at this rustic and family-friendly spot, which has chef Pravish Shetty in the kitchen. Dishes include samosas (prawn and Punjabi), chaats, kebabs and barbecue dishes, Bengali seafood and fish dishes and biryanis; call 04-3665866.

Ten different sauces for your burger, from wasabi mayo to Louisiana, patties made from grass-fed beef and free-range chicken, and the fries are hand cut from American Russet potatoes. A burger starts from Dh28, find it in the Al Wasl Vita Mall; call 04-3445599.
