Oh the scandal! Bollywood star Aamir Khan has released the second poster for his upcoming alien film called PK.

“Oh my, there’s no transistor even. What do you know?” said the actor in a tongue-in-cheek post on his Twitter account.

Khan is probably responding to the furore his first poster caused. In it the actor is scene in the buff standing on a railway track with only a retro radio covering his man bits. Politicians have jumped into the fray, calling it indecent. One man in India’s Uttar Pradesh even went to court, saying the poster promoted vulgarity and nudity.

Khan’s fans have come to his defence, saying the actor, who is known for pushing the envelope, has the right to creative freedom. The poster has also sparked internet memes and endless jokes online.

There’s no transistor in the new one alright, but there’s a giant sousaphone with the actor dressed like he’s a member of an Indian wedding band.

The comedy is scheduled for release in December, and reunites Khan with acclaimed director Rajkumar Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The trio’s last film together, the record-breaking 3 Idiots, released in 2009 and is still considered a landmark film in Hindi cinema.

PK will also star Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt. Although details are scarce at the moment, Khan is believed to play an alien who lands on earth in the hopes of saving his own planet.
