Salman Khan’s Kick, which released ahead of Eid, crossed the Rs1 billion (Dh61 million) mark on the fifth day after its release.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the news Twitter on Wednesday. He wrote the total amount taken by the movie over the weekend was Rs1.27 billion.
Another industry expert, Komal Nahta, confirmed that the movie had taken in more than Rs1 billion.
Kick, also starring Jacqueline Fernandez, has been directed by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The movie’s songs have turned out to be popular in the music charts and the action sequences performed by Khan are much talked about.
