Time to get down on the beach. This year’s Yasalam Beats on the Beach, the free series of concerts on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, will feature an eclectic mix of chart-toppers from the US, India, the Philippines and the UAE for three days at the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Kicking off the party on November 20 will be Charice, the former Filipina internet sensation and Oprah Winfrey discovery who also briefly starred on Glee. She will be joined by Iraqi singer Chada Hassoun and American rapper Juicy J.

Then on November 21, Jason Derulo, now a UAE regular, will perform along with Emirati star Ruwaida Mahrooqi and Bollywood rapper Hard Kaur.

The series will end on November 22 with headliner Rita Ora, also marking her return to the country. She will be joined by Lebanese rising star Sabine, another UAE regular Ragheb Alama and American singer-songwriter Tinashe.

Across the three days, some of the UAE’s best music acts will also share the stage. The hand-picked names include Juliana Down, The Boxtones, Nikotin, Kicksound and Jae Franklin.

And it’s not just music. Dance fans can also take part in a competition and win prizes while artists can create live graffiti art and conduct workshops at the Urban Art Zone.
