Kim Kardashian has landed in the UAE after being forced to skip the India leg of her “world tour” due to a visa problem.

Kardashian on Friday morning tweeted a picture of the sunrise from what appears to be a room in the Atlantis The Palm hotel.

“Words can’t describe how grateful I am to be back in Dubai. I love it here so much!” she wrote in the caption.

The reality star stayed at the hotel during her visit to Dubai in 2011, when she filmed an episode of her TV series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

She arrived earlier than expected after she failed to secure a visa to visit India in time. She had been due to make an appearance on Bigg Boss, India’s version of Celebrity Big Brother, hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan.

Kardashian explained the issue in another Twitter post.

“To all my wonderful fans in India, I’m so disappointed I wasn’t able to come to India as planned. When the opportunity presented itself to make the trip, there was a short window to coordinate all the elements necessary to make it happen. Unfortunately, time ran out so the trip has been cancelled. I look forward to rescheduling and meeting everyone soon!”

The 34-year-old star has events lined up in the UAE on Sunday and Monday. Organisers of her UAE events did not have details of any changes to her schedule here, which includes hosting a club night, opening a perfume store and attending a dinner in her honour.
