Finally, a voice has been raised about the ethics of many publishing industries giving particular reference to the reputed Times of India. Even the Times of India was unable to come up with a suitable comeback and is clearly guilty of posting such blasphemous pictures of women in the film industry. With that in mind, I strongly support Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone in her cause and her stand for all women involved in the film industry of our times.

This level of indecent exposure of actresses especially, has been around for a long time, but the difference now is that someone has actually taken up the cause and is raising a voice on this profane issue. Women should not be disrespected in such a disgusting manner and their privacy should not be exposed the way that it is in today’s society.

It is shocking to witness the fact that even major media publishers have taken the freedom to posting such offensive pictures of popular actresses. I sincerely believe that all women, irrespective of whether they are famous or not, have the right to privacy and if they wish to share it with the public, it should be their own choice and not someone elses.

Hence, this is an issue that not only pertains to every actress, but also pertains to every woman. We must appreciate this brave effort, or else the problem would have escalated and continued to be ignored. Thus, all women together should take a stand on this issue and support it.
