Hollywood star Ben Affleck’s Gone Girl, which was slated to release alongside Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s big-ticket entertainer Happy New Year, will now hit the screens on October 31.

The David Fincher-directorial was to release on October 24, a day after Diwali, the same day Happy New Year is set to release.

Actors Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, and Carrie Coon are also part of the movie, which had its world premiere on the opening night of the 52nd New York Film Festival last month. In the US, the movie released on October 3.
