Beyonce and Jay Z surprised festival-goers at Coachella last weekend with a few unannounced appearances. But music’s most famous couple have a bigger trick up their sleeves: a summer stadium run.

The married superstars will launch their first joint tour in June, a source close to the production told The Times.

Page Six first broke news of a trek that is slated to hit 20 cities in the US, including a possible Fourth of July appearance in New York City.

Expected to be named, aptly, the Mr and Mrs Carter Tour, according to our source, the US leg will launch June 13 in Atlanta and end on August 6 in San Francisco.

The tour is expected to have a stop at the Rose Bowl, tentatively set for an August 3 date. That show would be just days before Eminem and Rihanna’s highly anticipated Monster Tour sets up a two-night stand in Pasadena.

The two then plan on taking the show to Europe, with multiple shows scheduled in Paris this September, a source said.

Despite a number of joint hits documenting their love over the past dozen or so years — Crazy In Love, ’03 Bonnie & Clyde, and Drunk In Love, to name the biggest — and countless performances together, the pair have yet to embark on a joint tour.

The Carters recently finished separate tours.

Jay’s Magna Carter World Tour ended in January after a stadium run with collaborator Justin Timberlake. Beyonce’s extensive Mrs Carter Show — she dropped her top-secret surprise self-titled album toward the end of her US run — closed in March and ranks as one of the top-grossing tours of all time.

No official announcement has been made. Mr Carter was busy on Wednesday announcing an LA edition of his Made In America festival.

Reps for the two didn’t return a request for comment.
