The walls will tumble down in February when English pop/rock band Bastille take the stage at RedFestDxb. The four-piece will now join Iggy Azalea, The Script, Kiesza, Ella Eyre, Cris Cab, Jeremih, Rixton and Tinashe as part of the two-day festival at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on February 12 and 13.

Combining glossy ’80s synth pop and rock, Bastille broke out globally with their single Pompeii. Their debut album Bad Blood was the UK’s biggest selling digital album in 2013.

The group began as the solo project of singer-songwriter Dan Smith whose birthday is July 14 (aka Bastille Day) but became a full-fledged band in 2010 with the addition of Chris Wood, William Farquarson and Kyle Simmons.

Pompeii reached number two on the UK charts in February 2013 and earned Bastille a Brit Award for Best Breakthrough Act in 2014.

Tickets are now on sale, starting at Dh350 from redfestdxb.com
