Within three days of its release, Akshay Kumar film Baby has grossed more than Rs350 million (Dh1.28 billion), a figure much ahead of the over-Rs1 million-mark that Sonam Kapoor film Dolly Ki Doli has managed.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Baby earned Rs360.7 million in just three days, according to a statement.
Also starring Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Danny Denzongpa, Kay Kay Menon and Taapsee Pannu, the movie revolves around an undercover unit formed to keep an eye on the movements of terrorist groups.
Arbaaz Khan Production’s Dolly Ki Doli, on the other hand, has made Rs107.5 million in three days.
The Abhishek Dogra-directorial, which features Sonam Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat and Rajkummar Rao, revolves around a conwoman who robs her grooms on their wedding night and runs away.
