Amitabh Bachchan has been named Timeless Fashion Icon at the Filmfare Glamour Style and Fashion Awards.
Bachchan, 72, took to Twitter to announce it. “At night. Fashion and glamour and style takes over and decorates you with Timeless Fashion Icon Award! Time to Timeless! [sic],” he tweeted.
Actress Alia Bhatt won Emerging Face of Fashion (Female), while her Student of the Year co-star Sidharth Malhotra was named the Emerging Face of Fashion (Male) at an event on Sunday evening.
“Thank you #CirocFilmfareGlamourAndStyleAward for the Emerging face of fashion award!I hope to live up to the expectations. @filmfare [sic],” she tweeted.
Sonam Kapoor, who looked beautiful in a blue gown, won two awards, Trendsetter of the Year Award and Most Stylish Star (Female).
Kambakkht Ishq actors Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor won the Most Glamorous Star male and female awards, respectively.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is set to make his acting debut with Bombay Velvet, was honoured with the Most Glamorous Director award.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who also won Global Icon of the Year (Male) award, shared the Most Glamorous On-Screen couple trophy with Kajol.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took home the Most Glamorous Real-Life Couple award. Aishwarya was also named the Global Icon of the Year (Female).
