Ahead of his UAE return at the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival on February 27, John Legend’s global smash ballad All of Me has been given an oriental twist by Beirut-based producer Jean-Marie Riachi.
The new version, which is now available on iTunes, Anghami and other platforms, fuses music by some of the Middle East’s top instrumentalists with Legend’s now ubiquitous song. He will perform it in Dubai when he closes the annual jazz festival at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.
“For many years I have worked with some of the biggest Arabic talent, but this is the first time an international artist of John Legend’s stature has allowed me to create such an oriental version. I am extremely thankful for this opportunity, and delighted John is a fan of the new arrangement. It will be a delightful evening on February 27 to share such a great record with a live audience,” said Riachi.
The track will also headline Riachi’s second instalment of his album Belaaks, which is scheduled to release in spring.
