Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island is set to grow its global base of potential customers by tapping into the Russian tourist market at a major upcoming travel and tourism fair in Moscow.
The 20th International Trade Fair for Travel and Tourism will be held from September 16 to 19 with over 62,000 visitors expected to attend.
Around 16,800 visitors came from Russia to Abu Dhabi in 2012, according to the Tourism Decision Matrix. The figure is expected to grow by 29.5 per cent annually to reach 61,100 by 2017.
