Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi has the potential to become a leading tourism destination from Jordan, according to a delegation of travel industry experts on a recent visit to the emirate.
Citing a combination of infrastructure development, quality accommodation, an expanding range of family attractions, and increasing air access, the Jordanian operators said Abu Dhabi can gain a larger slice of outbound travel from the Kingdom.
According to the Tourism and Culture Authority, year-on-year hotel guest arrivals from Arab non-GCC markets increased by 20 per cent, with Jordan exceeding this figure.
