Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday received at the Dubai World Trade Centre delegations participating in the Annual Investment Forum.
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, and Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, were present.
Shaikh Mohammad wished the delegations success in their participation in the forum, which brings together an elite group of officials, economic experts, and investors from various nations around the world, particularly Third World countries.
Shaikh Mohammad said that the UAE’s modest experience is always available for brotherly countries, in line with the UAE’s keenness to encourage economic development in these countries that will in turn lead to progress and stability for their peoples.
Praise for UAE
The delegation of ministers and officials said that the UAE has become an institution from which others can benefit from on how to manage and improve development programmes and projects. They praised the UAE’s experience in achieving highest rates of economic growth in the past four years.
They also indicated Dubai’s success story impressed the world with its accomplishments and excellence in a number of massive investment projects.
Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, was also present during the meeting.
