Sharjah: The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) has launched a roadshow in China that will make halts in Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Hong Kong.

The SCTDA will hold workshops, which will be followed by destination presentations highlighting all the characteristics and facilities of the emirate’s diverse offerings and rich cultural heritage.

“We consider China to be a high-potential market for us, as can clearly be seen by the exponential growth witnessed over the last few years. Sharjah fits the tourism profile for Chinese visitors perfectly, and with the new visa-on-arrival announced by the federal government recently we are confident that we will see even more growth in the coming season,” said Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of SCTDA.
