Ajman: As part of its efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with key international tourism agencies, the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) organised a visit to Moscow, during which the department held a series of meetings with key tour operators and a group of foreign investors and businessmen. The purpose of the visit was to promote the Emirate of Ajman as a tourism and investment destination locally, regionally and internationally, thus serving the department’s future objectives and strategies.
Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of the Ajman Tourism Development Department, said the number of Russian tourists increased to 34,654 visitors in 2016, with Russian tourists booking 89,183 room nights and spending 170,844 guest nights in Ajman hotels throughout the year.
