Dubai: The Sony Xperia XZ is all set to hit the stores in the UAE, a few weeks after it was unveiled at the consumer electronics and home appliances trade show - IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) Berlin.

Sony’s first flagship of the X series – XZ - features advanced camera with triple image sensing technology and 5-axis image stabilisation, enabling users to take the perfect photos without blur and in low-light.  Added to this is the Laser AF sensor with distance sensing technology, which captures beautiful blur-free photos in challenging low-light conditions.

The 5.2-inch gorilla glass display (1080 x 1920 pixels at 424 pixel per density) with fingerprint sensor is powered by 2.15 GHz quad-coreQualcomm 820 processor and coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage capacity. The microSD card supports up to 256GB.

The single/dual-SIM device houses 23 MP, f/2.0 and 1/2.3-inch sensor size rear camera and 13MP f/2.0, 22mm, 1/3-inch sensor size front-facing camera.

The rear camera can record 2160p at 30 frames per second (fps), 1080p at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps while the front camera can record at 1080p.

It sports Type-C USB to charge the 2,900mAh intelligent battery with Smart cleaner and Qnovo adaptive charging technology which monitors and adjusts the charging current to avoid damage for battery longevity whilst Battery Care controls the charging based on learned habits and avoids excess charging by pausing charge at 90 percent and only completes the charging just before it’s needed.
