Infinix Mobility unveiled its flagship model – Zero 5 – in Dubai on Tuesday as part of its global launch.

The 5.98-inch device is powered by oct-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor and sports two versions.

The 6G RAM and 64GB storage capacity is priced at Dh999 while the 6GB and 128GB version is priced at Dh1,199. The phones will have an exclusivity with Souq.com.

“Infinix’s vision is to take smartphone photography to a level where it bridges the gap between amateur and professional photography. The Infinix Zero 5 bridges the narrowing gap between smartphone and tablet and answers consumer demand in the dual-camera smartphone segment,” said Benjamin Jiang, Global Head of Infinix.

The Chinese company will target a new generation of customers and firmly believes that the Zero 5’s innovative design and features.

It sports two dual cameras (12MP wide-angle lens and 13MP telephoto lens) with a 2x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom and an f/2.0 aperture while the front house an 16MP camera for selfie lovers.

Jiang said there is also a special Portrait Master Mode that uses an RGBW sensor and multi-frame noise reduction technology to assist users in capturing the perfect hero shot.

He said the company has sold more than six million units in the Middle Eat and Africa region.

It has a unibody metal design, dedicated dual SIM slots along with a microSD card slot and a 4,350mAh battery with support for xCharge 18W fast-charging technology.
