mCanvas-IAS, a business partnership between IAS of Dubai and mCanvas of Mumbai, India, has tied up with Gulf News to serve mCanvas’ user friendly and interactive ad formats on the news paper’s mobile website.

The mCanvas ad platform has developed and delivered campaigns for brands such as Star Plus, Nissan, Idea Cellular, to name a few.

“Our formats and campaigns have been highly appreciated in India and we are glad to serve the Middle Eastern market now. Our formats will equip the Gulf News ad sales team with new formats which are more in line with their clients’ branding needs,” said Lavin Punjabi, CEO of mCanvas.

Biju Mathew, senior vice-president at IAS Media, said that the partnership is likely to open up many more avenues of business and “we are glad to synergise our energies in creating immersive experiences for brands and audiences.”

mCanvas collaborated with IAS Media — one of UAE’s biggest media concessionaries — to expand their reach in the Middle Eastern market.

“We are glad to associate with mCanvas-IAS. We needed the capability to deliver rich brand experiences on mobile, and the mCanvas-IAS platform helps us achieve that. Additionally, their ad formats also appeal the users, are non-intrusive and easy to dismiss,” said Rajeev Khanna, Commercial Director of Gulf News.

He added the media and ad industry is slowly slanting towards a mobile-first approach and it is important to take notice of these changes and adopt measures that will help us stay relevant for our audiences.
