Dubai: The advertising and communications network BPG Group has rejigged its management structure to be a “more nimble and sharper focused” entity. The changes follow an internal review of the business.

“We are perhaps the only firm that is able to offer the complete suite of communications and marketing solutions under one roof and from a single window,” said Avi Bhojani, CEO. “This becomes all the more relevant since clients today are looking for an effective solution rather than simply and advert, an event or a banner.”

Under the new structure, Chief operating officer Nitin Puri will be responsible for growing the agency’s regional capability. He will oversee a new group-wide strategy team led by strategy director Kevin Jones, who moves to the role from BPG Bates.

The advertising and creative business BPG Bates also sees a leadership refresh with Suneesh Menon assuming the role of managing director. At its public relations division BPG Cohn & Wolfe, Kevin Hasler takes on the role of managing director with a brief to focus on a greater digital offer.

A more integrated social media offer has been created with the move from BPG Maxus to BPG Cohn & Wolfe of Hameed Yousuf as account director, digital, to lead the agency’s social media business. The Group’s media planning and buying unit BPG Maxus will see its offering becomes increasingly digital to reflect the region’s growing online communications landscape.

“The changes we have made will ensure that the BPG Group can become more nimble than ever in the way we focus our energies, creativity and passion to deliver solutions for our clients while helping us become an even more contemporary company for the future,” Bhojani added.
