Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, on Tuesday received a trade delegation from the Indian state of Kerala.

The delegation, headed by T.S. Pattabhiraman, Chairman Thrissur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, includes representatives from 30 companies from various sectors and areas that seek to enhance cooperation with Emirati companies and industrial investments in Abu Dhabi.

Shaikh Nahyan lauded the distinguished relations binding the UAE and India, and pointed out that the visit would contribute to furthering trade and cultural ties and opening new horizons between the two friendly countries.

He highlighted that the UAE is keen to provide an ideal environment for investment projects as well as facilities and incentives that help attract international industries and investments and encourage businessmen and private companies, to set up quality projects with high feasibility.

The UAE views investors and businessmen as active partners in the progress and development in the country.

“India has become an outstanding destination for Emirati investments in various vital sectors, such services, real estate property, tourism, telecommunication and construction.
