Abu Dhabi: Federal ministries have reported total revenues of Dh37.4 billion during the first half of this year, with implementation at 78 per cent of the total actual budget of Dh47.7 billion, and expenditures amounting to Dh30.7 billion. The ministries recorded 63 per cent of implementation, achieving a budget surplus of 6.7 per cent.

Revenue growth reached 29 per cent compared with the first half of 2016. The federal ministries continued to achieve a budget surplus, reflecting the government’s success in controlling and rationalising spending and the optimal use of revenues in developing vital sectors in the country.
