Dubai: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), a district cooling services provider, has awarded contracts valued at Dh62 million in the first quarter of the year, it said in a statement on Wednesday.
The company recently announced that the number of its customers increased to reach 65,000 at the end of 2016.
“We are very delighted to have closed the first quarter on a grand note,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower in a separate statement.
He continued: “this is another important milestone in reinforcing our presence and progress. These contracts will further support our commitment to increase environmental efficiency.”
