Dubai: The Middle East’s petroleum and gas sector is entering a new era of responsibility where the focus is on strengthening efficiency and diversification across the entire supply chain, according to Saeed Khoory, chief executive of Enoc.
He was delivering the opening remarks at the 22nd annual Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference (MPGC), the anchor event of the Middle East Petroleum & Gas Week, hosted by Enoc in Dubai. Khoory said that since the launch of MPGC 22 years ago, the global energy landscape has witnessed ‘remarkable transformation’. He added that in the Middle East, there are fundamental shifts shaping a new narrative for the oil and gas sector.
