Dubai: The Dubai index jumped more than 2.5 per cent on Sunday alongside with crude oil. The Abu Dhabi index also edged higher.

The Dubai Financial Market general index was up 2.78 per cent at 3,775.68 as crude jumped more than 3 per cent on Friday’s trade. The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) was also up 1.37 per cent to be at 4,517.79.

Meanwhile ADX said in a statement that it has suspended trading in Gulf Cement Company, Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics and Dana Gas due to a technical issue in the shares ownership limits calculation.

“The suspension was announced for the fairness between investors,” said ADX in a statement posted on its website.
