Ras Al Khaimah: His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, on Monday received Tun Musa Hitam, Chairman of the World Islamic Economic Forum, WIEF, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting the country. Sheikh Saud welcomed the Chairman of the World Islamic Economic Forum, wishing him and the forum success in its efforts to develop Islamic countries.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed efforts to improve the areas of development between Islamic countries and strengthen them through joint cooperation at various levels. Hitam said that the forum aims to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and coordination between businesspeople in the member states of the OIC and to strengthen aspects of understanding and dialogue between the Islamic world and the rest of the world towards building strategic partnerships and economic growth through trade and investment interfaces, as well as development of the social sector, such as education and health.
