Dubai: The Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2015), which is organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will showcase the latest technologies and solutions in water, energy, environment sustainability, oil and gas, and other related sectors, from April 21-23 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“WETEX has established itself among leading global specialised exhibitions as an interactive platform for companies, organisations and associations from the water, energy and the environment sectors. The exhibition provides an opportunity to embrace the latest tools and solutions in these sectors from around the world, which makes it one of the largest and most comprehensive specialised exhibitions in the world,” Said Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, Managing Director & CEO, DEWA, President and Founder of WETEX.

In the water sector, the exhibition will cover all related aspects, including water treatment, desalination plants, pipes of all kinds, coolers and heaters, and related products and solutions. It also will display tools, equipment and accessories dedicated to digging technologies, pumps, valves, and tools to ease pressure and others.

WETEX will show the latest advances in irrigation systems, agriculture and horticulture equipment, and water withdrawal tools. In addition, with a focus on water conservation, WETEX will showcase products for detecting and treating water leakages, reservoir lining, and various materials used in the water sector and water transportation.

As oil and gas sectors are key areas, WETEX 2015 brings under its umbrella the Arab Oil and Gas Show. The importance of this sector is reflected in fluctuating oil prices, which highlights the need for techniques, strategies, tools and equipment to reduce production costs.

WETEX will feature information technology services, drilling well technology, and geological exploration equipment, Global Positioning Systems, construction and operation of the oilfields, exploration techniques, production and refining as well as oil and gas transmission systems, engineering and equipment pipelines, pumps, safety systems, pollution control, environment protection, access to critical data, and a lot of other equipment and tools for oil and gas industry.

The electrical installations and equipment that will be displayed in WETEX 2015 will include various types of tools, electrical equipment, supply and distribution systems, electrical terminals, wall switches, controllers and signals, plugs, wires, cables, electric sensors, and other tools.
