Barcelona: BlackBerry plans to release four new devices this year, starting with Leap.

The company, which still makes three-quarters of its revenue from the hardware business, unveiled four devices in 2014 — BlackBerry Z3, Porsche edition BlackBerry, Passport and the Classic.

The $275 4G LTE BlackBerry Leap is a five-inch all-touch device and will be available in April through European carriers.

The 1280 by 720 HD touch display has 293 pixels per inch, 8MP rear camera with 1080 HD video recording, 16GB of internal storage capacity and 25 hours of battery life. It runs on the latest BlackBerry 10.3.1 operating system.

It also showed a glimpse of a curved-screen model with a slide-out keyboard but did not give more details about the specs and the availability.
