Dubai: If you’ve decided at the last minute to book a National Day vacay or a getaway next year, now may be a good time to shop for bargain airfares.
The UAE’s airlines, Etihad and Emirates, have announced special offers that enable travel bugs to secure air tickets to top destinations abroad without creating a big hole in the bank account.
Depending on where you’re headed or when you intend to fly out of the UAE, there are budget-saving deals to be had, with return tickets from under Dh1,000 to more than D4,000 per person. Among the top picks are the Dh3,735 promotional fare for New York and under Dh3,000 rates for trips to Munich, Vienna, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Istanbul, Seychelles, London and Edinburgh.
Emirates’ discounted rates will expire in 11 days and are valid for travel between November 28 and June 10, 2018.
Flyers who opt for Etihad can book by December 3, 10 or 16, depending on the destination.
Ticket buyers, however, should keep in mind that the rates are not set in stone – they can go up, depending on seat availability or demand, as well as the chosen travel dates.
