Dubai: Jazeera Airways Group said on Monday it has recorded a 47 per cent increase in pre-transaction net profit in the fourth quarter of 2014 to 3.8 million Kuwaiti dinars (Dh46 million).
The company’s 2014 revenue was 68.8 million Kuwaiti dinars, up 4.9 per cent from the previous year, and its pre-transaction net profit was 17.4 million Kuwaiti dinars, up 4.4 per cent, the budget carrier said in a statement.
Jazeera Airways’ board of directors recommended record dividends and payments to shareholders totalling up to 50 million Kuwaiti dinars in the form of special dividends for 2014 and a share buy-back programme.
