Dubai: Get ready to get some goosebumps as a classy performance is about to be pulled off by Filipino stars — Carla Abellana, Aicelle Santos and Andrea Torres in Dubai.

The concert, organised with the help of the Philippine Consulate in Dubai, is for free.

The three-in-one show brings an enchanting post-Valentine's Day treat to the stars' Filipino fans in the United Arab Emirates on February 15.

Carla, Aicelle and Andrea will headline "Pusong Pinoy sa Dubai" (Filipino Heart in Dubai) event, bringing them together to the emirate for the first time.

Each one of the performers is a star in her own right.

Carla Angeline Reyes Abellana, 31, is a Filipina actress and commercial model who played the lead role in the numerous TV hit shows. Andrea Elizabeth Torres, 27, is an actress, host, dancer and commercial model.

Aicelle Anne Santos, 32, is a soul, R&B, pop, and jazz singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress who stormed into in the Philippine music scene and has been known as the "First Undefeated Pinoy Pop Superstar."

During the Dubai show’s briefing Thursday in Manila, Carla and Andrea both expressed excitement about seeing the city and meeting their fans.

"Finally, we will see you there," Carla said in Filipino. "We're going to have a party."

Andrea added: "Can't wait to go around and ma-meet the fans!"

The United Arab Emirates is home to the second-largest Filipino community in the Middle East.

Andrea said that she is already seeing people leaving comments on her social media account expressing their excitement for the show.

Aicelle, in a separate interview, promised to bring her signature songs to the stage.

Carla and Andrea wisecracked, though, that Aicelle will be a tough act to follow, but assured their fans that they brought their own “baon” (takeaways) for their Dubai fans.

Aside from the scheduled show at the Shaikh Rashid Auditorium on February 15, the Filipino stars will also be visiting the Philippine consulate in Dubai.

The consulate is helping organize the event with Manila’s GMA Pinoy TV network and Volcano Events.

Venue: Shaikh Rashid Auditorium, Oud Mehta

The concert will be staged at Dubai's Shaikh Rashid Auditorium, The Indian High School in Oud Metha, which seats 1,800 people.

Philippine Consul General to Dubai Paul Raymund Cortez confirmed to Gulf News that the concert is free.

How to get free tickets

Though the concert is free, those who wish to watch still need to get their tickets to avoid jamming the venue beyond seating capacity, said organisers.

Those interested can visit Tabeer Tourism, 18th floor, Bur Dubai, Al Fahidi Metro Station (Exit 4) and must present their Emirates ID.

Organisers said they cannot guarantee free tickets would still be available at the gate during the concert night on February 15.
