Rock band 30 Seconds to Mars have rescheduled their UAE concert. The show was originally set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on April 10 as a part of the Middle East Film and Comic Con. It has been moved to September 25. They cite “unforeseen” circumstances as the reason behind the postponement.

“Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused,” the band said in a statement.

Organisers have announced that tickets purchased will be valid for the new date.

However, those who wish to acquire a refund will be able to do so through Ticketmaster, who tell us they are due to post details the website, marsindubai.com. Ticketmaster says it will refund interested parties within four working days, a deadline of April 10 applies.

Ticketmaster has also promised to enter ten per cent of existing ticket holders into a draw to win ticket upgrades, signed merchandise or a chance to meet-and-greet the band.

In light of the rescheduled date, the competition #MARSBattleOfTheBands, which allows regional bands to compete to open for 30 Seconds to Mars during their Dubai performance, will be re-opened for further submissions. The re-opening date has yet to be announced. Entries received up until this point will remain in the competition.
