Leona Lewis, Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz, and a host of other famous faces, are jetting into Dubai for Dance Arena, a first-of-its-kind event that has already been dubbed ‘the biggest music festival ever held in the Middle East.'

The line-up boasts chart-topping artists from a diverse range of genres, including folky pop star Natasha Bedingfield, one third of British band Sugababes, Amelle Berrabah, and pop-rock diva and Invisible singer, Skylar Grey.

To please the R'n'B fans, there will be a performance from Closer singer Ne-Yo, as well as British singers, Taio Cruz - known for his hit Dynamite - and Down singer, Jay Sean. Up-and-coming artist, Tash, who's currently enjoying local success with his hit Habibi Leh, which is all over UAE radio at the moment, will also be hitting the stage.

As the night goes on, DJ Edward Maya is guaranteed to have the crowd dancing into the early hours, and we're looking forward to hearing his mega-hit, Stereo Love.
Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sports City | From 2pm, Friday April 6 | Tickets available from all Virgin Megastores

Footnotes

  • This will be Leona's first performance in the UAE. Since winning the X Factor UK in 2006, Leona has sold over 20 million albums. Her famous 2007 hit, Bleeding Love, was number one on the Billboard Top 100 on three separate occasions in one year, and has sold nine million copies globally, making it one of the top-five songs of the decade.
  • Fans might think Ms Bedingfield has been off the radar for a few years, but couldn't be more wrong. The Unwritten singer headed Stateside and has made a name for herself writing music for Hollywood movies, including penning the soundtracks for Something Borrowed and Morning Glory.
  • Londoner Tash, 25, is the first act to be signed to Sony Music Middle East. He's making waves in the local music scene with his unique brand of R'n'B fused with Arabic beats.
