George Clooney and Stacy Keibler

George raised a few eyebrows when he started stepping out with the former wrestler last year. The pair first met back in 2006 at an Oscars party after Stacy had been a competitor on US reality TV show, Dancing With The Stars. "He came up to me, and he was like, ‘You're so great. You should win'," recalls Stacy. And sources have spilled that the pair started dating in July 2011 after George's manager engineered a meeting.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck

The pair, who recently celebrated the birth of their third child, a son called Samuel, shared plenty of on-set time before making things official. Working together on the 2001 set of Pearl Harbour, it wasn't until they co-starred again in the poorly received Daredevil in 2003 that they started dating, with Ben popping the question on the actress's 33rd birthday. Calling her man "sexy and kind", Jen has also revealed that he initially wooed her over email, calling her hubby a "very persuasive writer".

Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas

The sexy Spanish actor himself acknowledges of their romance, "There were people who literally didn't give us more than six months", and it wasn't until they filmed the movie Too Much together in 1995 that they finally met, with Antonio revealing of the first time he set eyes on the Hollywood royalty, "It was at the Oscars, but I didn't know who she was. As soon as I got out of the car, I saw her. I didn't recognise her because at that time I hadn't seen [Working Girl]. I asked Pedro, ‘Who is that beautiful woman?' She was gorgeous. She had on a cream coloured dress with pearls on it. I'll remember that my entire life."

Colin Firth and Livia Giuggioli

"It was love at first sight," says Colin of setting eyes on his wife-of-15-years on a film set in Italy back in 1996, calling her "this Italian beauty and smartest woman on the planet." And marrying her the following year in Umbria, the Oscar winner admits it wasn't easy winning over his in-laws, revealing of his job and the fact he came with a son from a previous relationship, "I'd shown up as this very, very dodgy commodity, attached to their darling daughter… I had a mountain to climb to win everyone over."

Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso

The still besotted actor says he was "overwhelmed" when he first met his wife, Luciana, in a Miami bar where she was working as a bartender and he was in the city filming Stuck On You. And George Clooney recalls how he knew Matt was serious about Argentinian Lucy, during the filming of Ocean's Twelve - "He stayed quiet about this one," said the actor. "That's how I knew it was serious."

David and Victoria Beckham

David admits to having had Posh on his radar for a while when she was at the height of her Spice Girls fame. After watching a cat-suited Victoria in the group's Say You'll Be There video, David spilled, "I saw Victoria and I told myself, ‘I'm going to marry that girl.'" Adding, "I think it was both love and lust. Well, it was probably lust." And Victoria reveals of their first meeting, "It was after a soccer match, and all of the players were in the players' lounge. David was sitting in the corner with his family. From the moment I met him, I knew that he wasn't a bloke-y bloke."

Cameron Diaz and Diddy

This unlikely pairing have been on and off for four years, after the rapper "pursued" the Charlie's Angels star during Oscars week back in 2008. With a source spilling of their on-off relationship, "Since then, when she's single, she'll booty call him", the pair recently took their romance to the next level, with a clutch of PDAs in New York and at this year's Oscars after-parties. And of the Bad Boy For Life singer's rumoured long-term relationship with singer, Cassie, a pal spills, "Diddy's single whenever there's a better offer on the table!"

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem

This slow-burning couple first met on the set of one of Cruz's first films, Spanish flick, Jamon, back in 1992. And the Oscar winners wouldn't start dating until 15 years later - after Penelope had enjoyed romances with Matt Damon, Tom Cruise and Matt McConaughey - and Javier had been in a long-time relationship with translator, Christina Pales.

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman

A-lister Anne filled her fans in on the moment she met bit-part actor, Shulman, gushing at the 2008 premiere of her movie Rachel Getting Married, "I happened to meet a sexy guy the other day." Adding, "You know when you don't know someone very well, you just meet them and you're like, ‘Wow, you really have it going on'?" And Anne freely admits that Adam wrecked her stay-single plan, revealing, "I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!"
