According to the latest Arab news reports, Moroccan singer Abdul Fattah Al Grini is set to record a duet with Lady Gaga.

Details and terms of the agreement are reportedly currently being worked out through composer Nader Al Khayyat, who has refused to give out details of the contract until November 6, when the results of the MTV Europe Music Awards are revealed.

Apparently, Lady Gaga took the decision to team up with Abdul Fattah for a duet after seeing how popular he is in the region, through his YouTube channel.

Let's just say we'll believe it when we see it.

Iraqi singer cancels concerts

Iraqi singer Majed Al Muhandis has announced the cancellation of all his concerts and entertainment activity in the upcoming period out of respect for the death of Saudi Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. This includes the cancellation of all performances taking place during Eid Al Adha.

According to MBC.net, the singer has headed to the kingdom to pay his condolences to the royal family, and has publicly expressed his sorrow over the loss of Prince Sultan.

George stable, son says

The son of Syrian superstar George Wassouf has assured his father's fans that he is now in a stable condition after suffering a stroke.

Wadee Wassouf spoke about his devastation when George was taken to hospital after suffering a stroke that left him in a coma. The singer has now been transferred from a Syrian hospital in Damascus to the American University Hospital in Beirut based on the request of supervising doctors.

Wadee added that the stroke has only affected movement in George's hands and feet, but he does not need surgery, and his condition only requires physical therapy.
