Al Ain: Fog draped different highways and cities in the UAE for a second day on Tuesday, forcing traffic to crawl under poor visibility.

Parts of Dubai were covered by dense fog on Tuesday morning. In other parts of the UAE, tThe situation was reportedly better in coastal areas but visibility went well below 500 metres in some internal areas. The fog is expected to continue until weekend.

The weather was, however, clear in the western region of Abu Dhabi, except in some areas in the southeast.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said there were chances of fog in Ras Al Khaimah, with fog heading southwest of the country up to the town of Muzaira near the Saudi Arabian border.

The fog started developing at around 2am and is expected to clear at around 9am.

The weather would be hot during the daytime with temperature reaching 41 degree Celsius in some areas. Night is again likely to be mild and humid across the emirates. Read more weather updates
