Nairobi: Captain Khurram Khan and Amjad Ali made half-centuries to lead the UAE to a four-wicket win over Kenya in the ICC Intercontinental Cup 50-over competition Tuesday.

Khan was 65 not out off 60 balls and shared a 75-run partnership with Shaiman Anwar (34) as the UAE passed Kenya's 230-9 for a series-levelling victory in the two-match contest. Ali made 60 and the UAE reached 233-6 with 20 balls to spare. Kenya opener Rakep Patel had hit six sixes in his 124 — his first international century — after the UAE put the home team in to bat.

Tanmay Mishra added 51, the only other Kenyan to reach double figures. Saqib Ali took 3-28 for UAE.

Kenya won Monday's rain-affected first game by 66 runs. The teams now play a four-day match, starting Thursday.
