Portimao: Team Abu Dhabi's Thani Al Qamzi finished an action-packed Grand Prix of Portugal in third position on the Arade River on Sunday.

The Emirati is now in fourth spot in World Championship standings with 16 points.

Jay Price and Alex Carella of Qatar team, came in first and second respectively in round two of the UIM F1 H20 World Championship in Portugal.

The Emirati shadowed Price and Carella to the finish after Norwegian Pole Position sitter Marit Stromoy and US driver Shaun Torrente had been sidelined by an accident and lost their first and second positions respectively.

Engine breakage forced Ahmad Al Hameli to start the race from 16th on the grid, but the afternoon ended in disappointing circumstances for the Emirati.
