The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has also confirmed slightly rough see with the similar height of waves. The centre, however, did not issue any warning or weather alert till today (Thursday) noon.

According to the weather bulletin of the NCMS, the weather will be fair in general today and during much of the weekend holidays. It could become hazy at time, with some low clouds appearing over the eastern mountain areas in the afternoon.

Winds are likely to be slight to moderately rough most of the time across the emirates. There is a possibility of winds getting even stronger at times, kicking up sands and dust in the open and internal areas.

Temperature is expected to remain between mid-40s creating tough conditions for people living in the coastal areas at times when humidity level is increased mostly in the evening and at night.
