Dubai: A leading exponent of Indian classical dance form Kathak and the Awadi Qawwalli experts, will perform at Madinat Jumeirah on January 11.
The event is organised to celebrate the launch of NCC Harmony at Dubiotech Park, NCC URBAN. It is supported by Visa International, Gulf News, Hum FM and Air India.
Innovated by Manjari Chaturvedi on Qawwalis from the dargahs of Awad region by Nurul Hasan and party, Sufi Kathak is a unique dance form that has been created by fusing the dancing styles of Whirling Dervishes of Turkey with Kathak of Lucknow gharana.
