Sharjah: Motorists can finally take a smooth ride towards Ajman after Rashid Bin Mohammad Bin Khadim Square (Qortoba Square) was opened on Saturday.
After being closed for two weeks since February 12, the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works was able to complete the maintenance work and upgrade at the square.
The square is located on the intersection of Al Sharq road, near Al Arooba, which is parallel to Bu taina, Al Majarra and Al Naba’a areas.
According to the Directorate of Public Works, the maintenance involved repaving the asphalt.
The renovated square is one of the most popular areas in Sharjah heavily used by motorists who commute to Ajman.
