Abu Dhabi: The British School-Al Khubairat (BSAK) and the Model School battle it out tomorrow for the last semi-final spot in the Lifebuoy Abu Dhabi inter-school tournament.
BSAK having ended Al Nahda National School's hopes of progressing from Group B after a 23-run defeat at the ADCC grounds on Sunday, have not only raised their own hopes of reaching the last four but also threw a lifeline to Model, who are two points behind them but ahead on the run-rate.
Uzair Khan played a captain's role by contributing with both bat and ball to lead his team to a 23-run win over Al Nahda at the ADCC grounds on Sunday. He made a top score of 32, shared a 51-run opening wicket partnership with Luc Jones (28) and grabbed four for 10 from 4.1 overs to take their points tally to four points to place second behind the International School of Choueifat.
