Abu Dhabi: Those visiting Corniche Hospital will have easier access to all of the facility's services with a new, free valet parking system available to the general public.

The valet parking is provided at the front entrance of the hospital for all patients, families, and visitors daily from 8am to 10pm.

Corniche Hospital, in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, is an Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) facility, and the largest maternity hospital in the UAE, providing facilities for more than 10,000 births and 216,000 outpatient visits a year.

A customer satisfaction survey conducted by the hospital found that 95 per cent of 280 respondents thought the valet parking service was a great initiative, while 59 per cent said the valet parking stand was highly visible; 77 per cent found the valet staff to be courteous and helpful; 64 per cent of all respondents expressed satisfaction with the entire valet parking experience.

"We are committed to providing high-quality services to our patients," said Khalid Abdullah Haji, director of support services at Corniche Hospital.

"We value our patients schedules. Their families have told us that free valet parking would greatly enhance the experience of everyone who comes to our facility.

"We also have plans to expand hospital parking by adding an additional lot by the end of this year, expanding our capacity and making the entire patient experience more comfortable."

Salma Fadel Al Qubaisi, an expectant mother who comes to Corniche Hospital for her prenatal visits, says that valet parking is extremely important for pregnant women.

"Now, we will not need to spend time looking for parking and walking in the heat for our appointments," she said about the new service.
