Dubai: Yogi Group beat Sharjah by two wickets in the first Dubai Sports City Ramadan T-20 tournament on Monday. They are set to take on Phoenix Medicines in the semi-finals late Tuesday night. The other semifinal sees ECB Blues take on Interface Transworld.

Shiva Pagrani got three wickets for 26 runs, the pinnacle of a fine collective bowling spell for Yogi, who bowled Sharjah out for a modest 122 in 17.2 overs. Yogi then achieved the target with five balls to spare with Zulfiqar Ali making 25 off 37 balls after Yogi were reduced to six for 67 to set up a narrow win.

Meanwhile, Seven Seas Strikers salvaged some pride with a four wicket win over Pack 2 Go in an inconsequential affair, as both sides had already failed to qualify from their group.

Batting first Pack 2 Go made 142 for seven with Prashanth Braggs (39) and Amjad Javed (38) the main scorers. Freddy Sidhwa and Mohammad Kashif took two wickets each.

Seven Seas built their innings around opener Asif Eqbal in reply, who made 63 off 44 balls with five fours and three sixes to help his team seal the victory with balls to spare.

Faisal Amin's three wickets helped Emirates NBD beat Standard Chartered Bank by 34 runs to earn their second victory in the ninth Dulsco T-20 Ramadan cricket tournament at Zabeel Park.

NBD put on 189 runs for the loss of eight wickets, the total boosted by 26 extras.
