The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday assigned Aali Al Khaleej Network Computers to update and renew the official website of Sharjah Ramadan Festival with a view to promoting the festival worldwide, according to Ali Salim Al Mahmoud, General Coordinator of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival.

Al Mahmoud said that "SharjahRamadan.com" had proved successful last year as it provided its visitors with all the required data on the Festival, including the social, religious and cultural programmes, as well as the entertainments and other activities.

Khaled Al Shamsi, Chairman of Aali Al Khaleej Network Computers, said that his company found it a good opportunity to contribute to the promotion of the Festival.

"The Sharjah Ramadan Festival is the biggest economic event and has religious, social and cultural features. Hence, private sector companies, like our company, should work hand in hand with the public sector to promote it and make it a huge success," he said.

Wafaa Qablawi, Assistant General Manager of Aali Al Khaleej Networks Computers, said the "unprecedented success of the online riddles last year has encouraged us to extend that activity and develop it this year."
