Abu Dhabi: The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra is performing for the first time in the Middle East for the 36th UAE National Day.

Famous French conductor Stephane Deneve and acclaimed Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes will be performing at the event on December 3 at the Emirates Palace.

The event will take place under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) and Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage in association with the Swedish Embassy.

"This will undoubtedly foster Abu Dhabi's standing as an international cultural destination," said Hoda Kanoo, ADMAF founder.
