Abu Dhabi: More than 500,000 students are currently attending schools and colleges across the UAE.
According to an education and training institute a further 95 per cent of females and 80 per cent of males who are currently in their final year of school have applied to higher education institutes, to commence studies in 2009.

Najah, which is Arabic for ('achieve' or 'succeed') , is organised by the Institute for International Research (IIR).
Under the patronage of Shaikh Nahayan Bin Mubarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and President of Zayed University, Najah has been designed to bring direct contact between leading educational organisations and students.
The three-day career expo, being held from October 19 to October 21, will include career counselling and a dedicated job profiling area for students to find careers that best suit their talents.
